Ups, I have copied my answer from the Russian forum translating it in English, but forgot these two words ::)

When I try 'gfix -v -f movies.pvd' at the command prompt nothing seems to happen. Just a new line appears

c:\Users\James\Documents\Personal Video Database\fbtools>gfix -v -f movies.pvd (I hit Enter here)

c:\Users\James\Documents\Personal Video Database\fbtools>

Any ideas? Thanks.

It should mean that everything is ok with the low level db structure...
