I don't see anything unusual in your log. It looks pretty much the same a mine, and I end up with a properly added record for Bruce Willis. It's unlikely the problem has anything to do with the image download—that's just the last thing shown in the status bar. You said the program "freezes." Have you tried wait a while to see if it responds? Could your virus scanner be interrupting the process? When you restart the program, is any information shown in the record?
itforay:
The mouse pointer became sandglass, and the menubar disappear, and you can not click anything.
And the CPU is 50% of the viddb.exe. My CPU is Core2Duo. So I have to kill the process.
Maybe my OS is not English, so......
when i restart the program and click the name of "Bruce Willis", the program dead again.
I will still use it. But before I add a new actor, I'll backup the DB first.
But thank you all the same. There is no perfect program for all condition.

Perhaps not, but this is Bruce Willis we're talking about. ;) Besides, you don't want to have to skip one record every time you update your people records.
I don't know how it helps in this situation, but in my experience the behaviour you describe indicates the program is busy doing something—it's not "frozen."

Chinese? If that has anything to do with it, it's important we figure out what's happening.
Something is wrong. Maybe nostra has some ideas.
