My PVD Rating - 10

 Here is my list of top (rated) movies. Unfortunately I am far from consistent in rating the movies I watch so of course many are missing.
 I also rarely give 10 and from 7.5 I consider the movie as good, and worth re-watching.
 This list is my 8.5 to 10 ratings.
 (and DO NOT laugh about my Toy Story ratings!!)

I recognize that in a lot of cases we share a taste for movies, although my idea was to paste here a list exported from PVD.

Data1001:
It's pretty rare that I will give a film a pure 10 out of 10 rating -- for me, that means that there is nothing (or nothing of any import) that I would change about it if I could do so. (And I've only gotten a fraction of the way into entering all of my titles into the database.)

That having been said, I'm still a bit surprised that PVD shows such a short list of movies/series I've rated as a 10:

Three Chaplin films make the cut: Modern Times, City Lights, and The Gold Rush

The miniseries John Adams makes it.

So do these films: The Man From Earth, Once, Aliens, & Sophie's Choice.

Sort of a motley selection, but then you'd get a better idea of my eclectic tastes if I posted a list of movies I rated 9 and higher.  ;)

nice list, and I like most of your movies, they are wonderful and classic.
Also there are more great ones coming out these two years. watch movies, enjoy life~
