--- Quote ---When I select to configure the IMDB plugin to download images, this is when I seem to get this http://www.imdb.com/media/rm... and no data for the movies.

Which is the issue I originally reported. I suspect all you did by recreating the plugins folder was to force your plugin configurations to be reset. You could have accomplished the same result by...

About genre: rick.ca is right, genres could / should be taken from the storyline section, at least I'd appreciate that.

Concerning desired features: Well... choosing localized versions instead of MPAA seems nice to me. MPAA is far more colourful, but for me the German FSK would befit my huge FSK stickers far better...

Far more interesting are: Filming location, soundtrack, recommendations ...

But all in all I'm quite satisfied with the present (intended) state of the plugin

Version 0.9.6.6 fixes the problem with downloading images, but other issues are outstanding...

* Technical specs and User review are not being added. The pages are downloaded, but nothing is added to the specified custom fields.

* Taking Genres from the summary at the top of the page (after
) limits the number to three. They should be taken from the "Storyline" section below (after
Genres:
).
Kindly provide me with a second version of the plugin (for an alternate configuration for series)...

Of course, you can have a second version of the plugin, but the bad thing is that I will need to compile it twice on each update :(

...That was 0.9.6.2. I think I've been good about not asking too often. ;)

Even if I don't use the genre from imdb very much as I prefer the information from allrovi, I hope that Nosta will fix this issue. The problem with the actual setting is that the genre items are sorted by alphabetical order and not by relevance. Hence, e.g., a thriller with some comedy, fantasy and adventure elements would be shown in PVD with the three latter mentioned genres. This might be a little bit strange.

Yes. My first thought about this was I might prefer they be restricted to the most relevant three. Then I realized this was the case. It's unfortunate the trend at both IMDb and Rovi is to favour appearances over the integrity of data presented. ::)
