Proxomitron - next https solution for PVD

I wrote exactly about this. It's a shame we cannot create a batch file which would trigger proxy for some scripts and then switched it off for other scripts in order to make mixed chain of scripts in one batch file. Still PVD is superb compared to other video catalogers, and one of the best apps ever programmed while free.

Hello there and happy holidays.

At the moment I'm doing allmovie.com mass update of my database. The script is working only through proxo, as we know.

So, when I start mass update proxo asks to allow connection to the site:

but, every 10 minutes or so the same dialogue box pop-ups with the same question. This is very annoying and also nullifies the idea of automated mass update.

Is there a way to skip/void SSL certificate verification errors in proxo, because all the time it's one and only site: allmovie.com?

It looks I couldn't find an human readable answer to my question on proxo forums.

Thanks in advance for any idea

Try Allow for Sessionn, not just Allow. Maybe then the popup window will disappear, at least for me it was like that some time ago, but now I haven't had these problems for a while.

Currently, however, I can't help you with the new solution for the proxomitron.exe file because I had problems with the computer where Win7 OS was loaded. However, I will arrange this in a few days and forward this solution to you.

Thanks Ivek, solution with the "Allow for Session" seems to be working! I thought "session" means one connection for one query so didn't try it...

The following files (libeay32.dll, openssl.exe and ssleay32.dll) I recommend that you copy them to a new folder first (all the ones mentioned above, which you just have in the program folder) just in case you might need them later. I am attaching a Proxo_OpenSSL_101Q_DLLs.zip (libeay32.dll, openssl.exe and ssleay32.dll) and a ProxomitronReborn_4605R.zip (proxo.exe) file.

Unzip and copy them to the program folder. The Proxomitron.exe file should remain in the program folder where you will use the previously copied proxo.exe file to run the Proxomitron program.

After running the proxo.exe file, the popup window should no longer appear, at least for me it no longer appeared.

Proxo_OpenSSL_101Q_DLLs.zip and ProxomitronReborn_4605R.zip files is attached.
