It would be nice to copy or paste the poster from/to clipboard. Especially if one's planning to import some movies from another app...

Cut/paste from/to clipboard will be very handy for dealing with images one at a time. But for importing en masse, you should consider Importing images using IMGbyID utility (http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php?topic=1734.msg8080#msg8080).
