Title: quick ? before i have to redo all my movies. no server yet.

being i dont have a server yet, and im doing all my movies which are on 16 bay DAS.. when i get my server. will have to redo all the drives??? or is there a setting in pvd that will find the new locations and keep all the info that has been downloaded and put in.. will it keep all the folder.jpg's im manually putting in? or will i have to redo everything?

Tools -> Scan Folders for new movies /changed paths...

Will automatically update the file path field provided the file name does not change. This leaves all other fields unchanged.

Alternatively
Tools -> Preferences -> Folders -> Find - Replace

Can be used to do the same thing dynamically but this will have to be done on each machine / user.
Currently config file needs to be edited as "Replace with" field is not editable (http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php?topic=1500)
