I have the initiative to IMDB plugin, if it is possible to add the IMDB plugin> IMDB configuration
additional address field for Custom DVD details and additional box titled DVD details
same way as, for example, possible in the top 250 rank.
The custom items would you add items to the memo field to be able to see what editions or Product Details have been issued for a specific film in mind as I address editions are as follows below and the like.
Widescreen Edition (Widescreen)
Full Screen Edition
Thank you so much trouble and we hope a positive response.

I suppose it would be possible to download the entire DVD page and put it all in one memo field—just as Technical Specs are now (optionally).
-
Is it possible that here in addition to or even next to the new box makes it the URL link to a web page.
Thank you for all
-
I'm not sure I understand... You already have a link to the IMDb main page. You can create your own link direct to the DVD page. In any memo field, in edit mode, right-click and select Hyperlink.
-
Thank you for advice and I was alone when I got the answer this Try and work thanks.

Do you also would give added Laserdisc details,Filming locations,Soundtrack,Sound Mix and Color,
or any of these are now not in the plugin.

Sound Mix and Color
This I have now from AllMovie.com and is the same as the IMDb,may not always or not at all.
-
I have two suggestions or questions:
1.)
Is the IMDb tagline may be arranged so as to transfer all at once with the tagline now instead of one tagline by accident. An example is Taglines for Hondo (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045883/taglines) where more tagline.
2.)
At IMDb configuration, if the course to make it to Custom field for (votes, or others who are now there) into one such embedded box straight away is now to determine where they will then be transferred to the text [(votes, or others who are now there), keep in mind I have a similar variation as in the Image Folders settings (Preferences> Folders) but it would be here for:
votes,250 rank,Technical specs,User Review and perhaps some other item]
and a field that is already there, embedded Custom field Setup.
There would then have some space for another welcome feature.

Laserdisc details NOW is not there anymore.
Filming locations would be nice to add the custom field.
Sound Mix and Color is not included in For example Technical specifications for 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0147800/technical) but each one has Technical Specs (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0147800/).

If that were added to the Imdb plugin (custom field), this would be a kind of
alternative or Replacement for AllMovie, where they were Color Type and Sound by, which the new AllRovi page is not there (better put: they are not, maybe in the future will be returned back).

+1 for adding Sound mix and Color to the information downloaded by the plugin. These would have to go into custom fields for version 0.9 of the program. Perhaps they should be added as standard fields to version 1.0.
I don't think an additional field can be justified on the basis of the data not being available elsewhere, or it not being on a supplementary page most users don't care about. Most users (at least those whose collections include older movies) would agree Color (i.e., b&w or color) is "important." Most would consider Sound mix to be unimportant technical trivia, and it's often not even available. On the other hand, most would agree "silent" and perhaps "mono" are important attributes recorded there. Another approach is to combine the "important" attributes into a Film type field. This is what AllMovies did, even though it was called "Color type" (e.g., the value could be "silent, b&w").
The plugin should simply get the information currently presented on the main page under "Technical Specs." That includes...
While presented this way, these items are classified as "Basic Details." That doesn't mean they're specified for all movies, but they are for most, and there are clear standards for them. This suggests Sound mix and Color, like Runtime, are fields that should have been included as standard fields in the first place. Aspect ratio also appears under the same heading, but is "Technical Info" and is included on the "Technical Specifications" page (which can be downloaded, if desired).

I wonder, probably, other users of PVD, what it says Nostra on this interpretation.

Something was lost in the translation...I don't understand.
I presented a case for adding Sound Mix and Color to the information downloaded by the plugin, and that it be done now rather than waiting for version 1.0. Isn't that what you want?

Thus I meant to say:
Nostra, I hope to be adding a positive response.

Yes, these data fall into the movie database.

Imdb plugin following update:
That this be added to in the plugin.

Done

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, there are some problems with the new fields...
Color is often presented as the link 'Color' followed by '([Color process])'. Where that's the case, the plugin returns (for example)...
Color (Technicolor) instead of Color (Technicolor).
Sound Mix often includes a list of technologies used, separated by ' | '. There's a non-breaking space in there that's being included as  .
Looking through the records I tested, I see another   in Color and a &# x27 (apostrophe) in Sound Mix. So I suppose all of this is just one issue—the data is not being properly "cleaned." :-\
-
Sorry for this. I could have tested it more. Try the 0.9.7.1 - the values should be cleaned up properly

In Color:
This Color (Technicolor) is now fine.
This Black and White | Color still it is a
For Sound Mix and User Reviews not transfer data.
-
OK, one more try with 0.9.7.2 (could not reproduce the problem with Reviews thou)
-
Color and Sound Mix now working properly and the data are now properly transferred.
Reviews details from Main details page would be perfect for the transfer, of course, unless there are problems with the proper functioning of the Imdb plugin.
-
Review from the main page is impossible to get as it seems to be loaded using scripts (probably because it depends on your account settings and such)
-
Oh, I understand if no other options, User Reviews Information goodbye.
Question for the tagline:
Do you edit the plugin in order to transfer all information taglines, which are written over there.
-
Oh, I understand if no other options, User Reviews Information goodbye.
Ehm, so does it download anything for you or what?
Do you edit the plugin in order to transfer all information taglines, which are written over there.
There is usually only one, AFAIK
-
Making progress, but now User Review is not being cleaned. Not only is it replacing special characters with codes, it seems line feeds are being removed but not replaced with a space.
Regardless of the inability to get User Review from the main page, I think getting it from the review page is best anyway. The main page user review is placed there by a script, probably so it can be rotated. If the plugin could get it, it would result in the review arbitrarily changing each time it is run—not necessarily what we would want. The default review page, however, places the "best" (based on the number and proportion of users finding it "useful") first. That's likely to result in a better quality review, and might even avoid the really crappy ones.
As for Tagline, there often are multiple items on the taglines page. But I must disagree with Ivek's philosophy that every bit of data at the source should be downloaded. The purpose of the program is to gather a reasonable selection of data that is consistent and of the best available quality. Notwithstanding some movies have a number of (possibly equally prominent) posters and taglines, most have just one, or one main one. I think the only choice is to trust whatever judgment IMDb uses to decide which one goes on the main page. It's not hard to find examples suggesting that judgment is not sound, but I don't know what choice we have. There doesn't appear to be any basis for determining the "best" choice from the taglines page.
-
All right, the issue with reviews is fixed.
As for the Taglines, I think one tagline from the main page is more than enough, so I'll skip this feature suggestion.
-
Thanks for the quick fix. All of them. ;)
Wish I had spotted this sooner...When a review includes a spoiler warning (i.e., "*** This review may contain spoilers ***"), only the heading and warning are downloaded. Is that intentional?
-
No, so wait for the next fix ;)
-
Thanks. No rush. Although this is interesting... 12% of the reviews I've downloaded have the warning. A good reviewer is supposed to be able to write a review without spoilers, so this is a high proportion of what are supposed to be the best reviews. Hopefully this is a result of the dire consequence of including a spoiler in a review without the warning...
Avoid unannounced spoilers! Please don't reveal crucial plot elements. If you include a spoiler without warning readers in advance your name will be added to a blacklist and, subsequently, all your reviews will be discarded automatically. To label a spoiler make sure you check the 'contains spoilers' checkbox.
-
Oh, I understand if no other options, User Reviews Information goodbye.
Ehm, so does it download anything for you or what?
I apologize that we did not properly understand.
I just wanted to say this, that certain information can not download from these or other reasons, otherwise me interested in all information to be transmitted.
Yes, download all for me.
Do you edit the plugin in order to transfer all information taglines, which are written over there.
There is usually only one, AFAIK
It will also be fine.
