It is most likely that this error is caused by changes of the imdb website. We need to wait until Nostra could check the script.

Yes, must be changes in imdb site.  I'm  sure Nostra will pick this up pretty soon.

I just got an error message when trying to import data with the imdb script:
Code:
Viddb: Arithmetic exception, numeric overflow, or string truncation. Arithmetic overflow or division by zero has occurred. Error Code 1.

I Also got the same for every movie...

Ditto here.  Optimized Database to no avail.

Talk / Merry Christmas!
« on: December 20, 2009, 07:12:27 am »
Just to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

Excuse the shouting but being the festive season I think it's warranted.

Thank you heaps and heaps to Nostra for a wonderful, dare I say a beautiful program, and all the hard work he has put into it.

J.

You must have a gremlin in your computer.  I wonder how many more people get the same problem.  I have no problem with Bruce Willis.  Hopefully you're not putting quotes when you download his details.

Just being facetious here, but sure would like to know what the solution is - looks and sounds very interesting - and why with Bruce Willis only.

Feature Suggestions / Cursor Position

This is probably me just being fussy, but here goes.  When you click on the menu items for Movies> New Movie Masterand the little window comes up.  Should not there be a cursor at the ready in the Title box waiting for you to type your title/request.  At present  nothing appears there until you move the mouse to the Title box place your cursor and start typing your request.  Am I just being to finicky?

It's not you (or me!). Something is wrong with the files that were posted. I'm afraid we'll have to wait for nostra to finish his damn sleep.  ;)

Phew, thanks rick,  for a minute there I thought .............  don't begrudge him - the poor guy has been working very hard on this PVD, me thinks....

I have just downloaded the latest PVD 0.9.9.10, saved it and then installed.  However it does not appear to have done anything.  I can still see version 0.9.9.9.  I thought it was to quick to have installed anything.  I have tried it twice now and Windows Vista Home Premium ( Which is what I am running) tells me that the program did not seem to install correctly and if I would like to install it again with the settings required -  I said yes and nothing happened.  Any suggestions please.
