Hello everybody,

I haven't been around for two years, but have been active recent couple of days, and carefully read what was happening meanwhile.

In absence of nostra, it became pretty obvious to me that PVD would be dead without Ivek.

So, regarding his tremendous contribution to keeping us alive, especially considering his health condition, the least I could do is to appeal to as many of you to redirect donations to Ivek.

Ivek, please let me know how can I send you my humble donation.

That's already in the script is done so that the Title-free year in the normal field as well as in the "Title" custom field.

It isn't in my case. When I import Title it imports title with year?!

In custom field "Title" it should be only "A Bittersweet Life", and not "A Bittersweet Life (2005)"

Thanks for fast reply, Ivek.

I don't want to import year as a part of title because I import year in a separate field,  but mostly because it's not the part of real title.

I use Custom field "Title" to import title from AllMovie.com (which is mostly in English, and I need it), and Standard field "Title" to import localized title from Imdb (Serbian, as you can see on the screenshot), and standard origtitle to import original title from Imdb.

I wouldn't like to import year to a Custom field "Title" from AllMovie.com.

Hi Ivek,

I do manually put these information to a "Category" field, cause it sounds logical to me: "Which category is this PVD entry?" "It's documentary, TV movie, movie, For video only, etc..."

How should I modify your script to automatically fill "Category" field with these data using your script?

P.S. Your custom field names for these data are "TV" and "TV2"? Why two fields?

I have no knowledge about scripting, but just a lucky guess. Is it possbile, not to put "%20" instead of spaces in url, but to put whole url under quotes (double, or single, I'm not sure)?

Acctress: Nicole Kidman

Movie View-click on a Nicole's name-switching to People view-updating her record with IMDB people plugin-switch to movies (back to Rabbit Hole).

No more Nicole credited there. Movie record update needed to credit her again.

Why is that?

Try this
Copy database to a desired location. Open database by double clicking on it. Then go to Tools-Options-Folders and check "Last used" option for "Open database" in drop down list on the right. Close PVD. Open it via PVD shortcut. It should work. At least it works for me.
