AllMovie disappeared,Allrovi.com appeared
Today I noticed that my AllMovie SCRIPT DOES NOT WORK.
It looks like it has changed the page address and appearance.
What is happening there and how far is the possibility that can be done new scenario for AllRovi.com. (http://www.allrovi.com/)

Yes, AllMovie has been replaced by AllRovi. I think we're screwed. Although the content is the same, it appears a lot of it (e.g., keywords, themes, tones, moods, etc.) has been dropped. Although the page designs are similar, it seems things have been changed enough our scripts will require complete rewrites. Now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop—these pinheads are likely to do the same thing to AllMusic. >:( :'(
I wouldn't expect nostra to get around to this anytime soon. Even if he could, there may be further changes coming—assuming Rovi is inclined to respond to the flood of complaints this is likely to generate. There's no point trying to rewrite a script for a site that keeps changing. On the other hand, I suspect there are many of us for whom this is a major problem.
You might want to try adapting the old script to the new site. To do that, you'll probably need to refer to the old pages to understand how the script needs to change. They're still available in the Google cache, and can be found with the search: site:www.allmovie.com [Title] [Page] where "Page" is Overview (or omitted), Review, Cast, Production or Cast. Select the "Cached" link from the search results page. That's how the page in the screen shot was obtained.

Too bad that this happened.

Hopefully not, but I have a feeling that very soon the same will happen with Allmusic.

I'm not an expert for this.
In AllMovie I used almost a year that I am using a lot of script, (you have up Nostra, Rick.ca and other script other authors) and original code page I may be alone Amended and do your script for AllMovie people, for a new site I have no idea how and what to do for any old script that I have.
We will see and know what to Nostra will say, when he returns back to work.

I have no idea how and what to do for any old script that I have.
I understand. I have very little confidence I could modify my AllMovie+ script. There doesn't seem to be any point in trying. It's purpose was to get additional data the original script did not. Most of that additional information is now gone. At a glance, the only useful data left are the Synopsis and Review. I'll just have to hope nostra finds time to rewrite the original script so I can at least get those. :(

Yes, it is.
Now most of these additional information is no longer there, damage, However, the future may be just what the change for the better.
But it is also any better information, say in Releaes as soon as possible, it is true as well that the information is now more deficient than before, this is particularly true for People information.
-
End of an era? They refer to 'deep content' on their website... as you guys have said, it seems a lot has actually been culled. It's still in the transition phase, so I expect a number of changes are still to come. Hopefully for better :P
-
I find it difficult to be hopeful. This isn't a redesign. It's a clean break, and their just using their existing data in the new website. I suspect they see no marketing or financial benefit in providing the data we miss, so requests to add it are probably falling on deaf ears. It would make sense for them to provide the data so it could be used in an advance search engine that allowed filtering on things like mood, theme, runtime, director's eye colour, etc., but these guys have never shown any sign of being progressive. While the AMG sites had some good data, their mechanics seemed rather crude (e.g., hopeless search, slow, etc.).

Hopefully it will really just like it says on their forum that will eventually in the future, add more additional information because many users also ask for certain Additional information which were previously present at AllMovie.com.

Now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop—these pinheads are likely to do the same thing to AllMusic.
Rick.ca here is the answer to your question with AllMusic.com.
The timeline for switching over AllMusic to AllRovi is not yet pinned down. It will happen at some point this year, but we'd like to get some additional features in place first. We'll be using the feedback from this forum to continue to make tweaks and improvements
Here are All topics for AllRovi (http://getsatisfaction.com/allrovi/topics?page=1&sort=recently_active&style=topics) and answers and someone will be found additional information concerning the AllRovi.com
-
Slowly, only minor changes occur.
Now it has added Release Date and Run Time.
-
For lovers of old and good AllMovie.com, here is something that will keep you happy. At the forum AllRovi is written this Link to old-school allmovie.com (http://getsatisfaction.com/allrovi/topics/link_to_old_school_allmovie_com) which examined the work, an example of links below.

I have not yet tested an AllMovie script how to work with the new url.
When I did the tests will be reported to how and what works AllMovie script.
Rick.ca, this one probably will be very pleasant news for you.
This is not work anymore.
-
AllMovie script with a new URL works.
When I changed the url from http://www.allmovie.com in such http://test.allmovie.com
Important notice about this is that here the url begin as follows
http://test.allmovie.com/ ..... or like this test.allmovie.com /....
However, work.
Here is the original AllMovie script called AllMovie_new , not to replace the original. Only I changed the url.
This is not work anymore.

When I changed the url from http://www.allmovie.com in such http://test.allmovie.com
I'm sure this was just the result of a user discovering a test site Rovi had no intention of making public. It's now gone—as is that user's post. It's also a safe bet your request (Link to old Allmovie.com page (http://getsatisfaction.com/allrovi/topics/link_to_old_school_allmovie_com-xt5t5)) to make the old site available so you can mine their data with a script will be ignored. You might get a better response if you ask them how/were you might get a subscription to use the data. It seems that's the business they're in.

Rick.ca, thanks again for the tip.
I got a concrete answer to the question in the topic Link to old Allmovie.com page (http://getsatisfaction.com/allrovi/topics/link_to_old_school_allmovie_com-xt5t5) and where it is possible to get more information about the former AllMovie.com, only a login and follow the instructions to what should be done.
It is necessary to carefully follow the instructions to avoid disadvantages such as inconvenience in my case and there nice description.
BTW:For help, contact me through personal messages when using this topic for some reason, which may not be or get in public.

They're still available in the Google cache, and can be found with the search: site:www.allmovie.com [Title] [Page] where "Page" is Overview (or omitted), Review, Cast, Production or Cast. Select the "Cached" link from the search results page. That's how the page in the screen shot was obtained.
Here's my solution.
For help, how to get directly to a Google search for: site:www.allmovie.com [Title] [Page] enclose that in Tools > Preferences > Web search add this:
This is my example and my solution:
Subject Name: google search
Under URL: http://www.google.si/search?hl=sl&client=firefox-a&hs=4qc&rlz=1R1MOZA_sl___SI416&biw=800&bih=407&q=site%3Awww.allmovie.com+%s%u
For others it will be necessary to modify the URL.
The easiest way you'll find if you paste in the Google search engine this one site address: site:www.allmovie.com Chill Wills, and then the URL address of a word (http://www.google.si/search?hl=sl&client=firefox-a&hs=4qc&rlz=1R1MOZA_sl___SI416&biw=800&bih=407&q=site%3Awww.allmovie.com+Chill+Wills) (Chill + Wills - not copy) then copy the Web search.
This should work.

This seems like a ray of hope at the horizon. I have taken a look into the documentation there and all the information from the former allmovie.com page are avaiable (moods, themes, tones ...) :D The big question is now is somebody out there with enough programming skills to build a plugin ???

This seems like a ray of hope at the horizon.
I don't think so. They provide developers an API that will allow them to develop application that use their data. Access is limited to 5 minutes per call. The data is only available on an ongoing basis by subscription. And they don't appear to be in the business of providing subscriptions to end users.
Even if someone with a key wrote a script that would get data for their person "testing" use—5 minutes at a time—that script would only work with the API key held by the author. Providing the key to others would be a violation of the API License.

This is true, all what as wrote Rick.ca
-
Oh no, that is sad. I was so happy after discovering that all the information from the former website are available via the api that I did not read the terms of use. :'(
I am really stamped at the moment since I preferred the data from allmovie to organize my movies. That worked very well for me. But now I have to import the data from imdb for all my movies, adjust pvdimport and mc views … >:(
Minolotus (former allmovie.com fan)
-
I suppose a small ray of hope is a developer could create something like a plugin for J. River Media Center, and offer that to MC users on a subscription basis. But I found no hint on Rovi's developer site of how they do business with developers. It must be one of those "if you have to ask..." sort of things. This was the main thing I was looking for—just so I might understand the possibilities. It might have explained, for example, why J. River has not shown any interest. It seems obvious providing an automatic download of Rovi meta data for both movies, tv and music would make 95% of their users extremely happy. Most would be understanding/happy if it were only available at additional cost. But for some reason, they haven't done that, or even floated the idea. The answer might be the cost and/or risk is just too much for the small developer.
-
Even if a developer would make a plugin for MC I am not sure if I would use. I really like MC and use it to search within my database for movies and shows I want to watch next. But I think it is not very handy to edit and input data. PVD is much more better for this. Therefore I use PVD to collect and maintain the data for the movies and MC as a “front end”. A plugin for MC would make this division of work difficult.
-
Even if a developer would make a plugin for MC I am not sure if I would use.
I might not either. I was only offering an example I knew would be familiar to you.
That being said, it such a plugin really did automatically supply any and all Rovi meta data for all my media in MC, I don't know why I would not use it. I would still use PVD to view and manage the data, and get information for movies Rovi does not have. And since PVD could easily import MC sidecar data, MC would serve a front end for the Rovi data it would not otherwise have access to.
-
I wouldn't expect nostra to get around to this anytime soon. Even if he could, there may be further changes coming—assuming Rovi is inclined to respond to the flood of complaints this is likely to generate. Hopefully Nostra find a way, how and what to help us However, even for those
for which this is a big problem.
The more I watch and study the original code page all the more likely seems to me,perhaps, I hope that this wrong, that we will be quiet forever goodbye to all the data from the old AllMovie.com (all as old AllMovie.com definitely will not be back, colt users on their forum to claim back a lot of old AllMovie.com, many users are saying, that on such a site as it is now even more AllRovi.com will not return, AllRovi policy to end users, we feel that they just negligence, If users no longer use their site with movies and other data), as well as always goodbye to all the data from the new AllRovi, because New AllRovi is too complicated to do Nostra had time to convert the existing AllMovie script or possibly for a brand new AllRovi script and I hope I am wrong in this.
-
And since PVD could easily import MC sidecar data, MC would serve a front end for the Rovi data it would not otherwise have access to.
Ok, right. I did not know that as I do not use sidecar files.
I just discovered that they have added some further information to the website: run time, release date and characteristics (http://gsfn.us/t/2aiez (http://gsfn.us/t/2aiez)). The item mentioned last should comprise the former fields themes, moods and keywords. This is from my point of view not a really good idea. Characteristics may be useful to get a quick impression about a movie but as there will be a lot of different characteristics it will not be possible to use them as search or sorting criteria. Especially moods - together with genre - have been a really good combination to find movies I want to watch. I do not see that this could also be accomplished with characteristics.
-
AllRovi policy to end users, we feel that they just negligence, If users no longer use their site with movies and other data
I just wanted to say that in AllRovi and their policy only see that they do not care
or not care about this, or users continued to be used their movies and other information or will users prefer to turn for information on similar pages.
-
In relation to metadata lookup from JRMC, there are probably two points worth mentioning:
1) 5 or 6 few years ago an MC user generated a plugin to scrape music data from allmusic. This became quite popular was was pretty effective. After about a year allmusic send a cease and desist notification to the guy who developed the plugin and he pulled it (I know I would too)
2) Maybe 2 or 3 years ago, JimH mentioned they'd contacted the allmusic/allmovie people (I'm not sure if it was for music or movies) about implementing in MC. There wasn't a whole lot in the way of details, but the impression was that the asking price was a bit too high.
Personally, I'd love to see it. I'd pay a fair bit too :)
-
Scraping is an interesting issue. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had objected to nostra's script. He accepts donations, so that might have been construed as an indirect commercial exploitation of their property. They had no basis for objecting to my script, however. It's just a modification of nostra's, but it's for my personal use. If they have some objection to how end users use their site, they can probably block those patterns of use, but they can't object to how users choose to access publicly available web pages.
End users are not Rovi customers. It seems small operations (like J. River) aren't either. Their customers are larger enterprises capable of generating enough revenue from the data to pay them well. They've also proven themselves rather inept in dealing with end users. While most appreciate the Allmovie and Allmusic sites for the richness of data, they were/are technological dinosaurs compared to other similar sites. The new AllRovi site isn't any better. It seems they don't have the expertise to do even basic things like build a search function that works, or the imagination to find creative ways to engage users. It makes me wonder if their real agenda is to create the demand that will attract a new customer—someone who knows how to create and run an effective website they can license the data to.
-
I think it's really all in the same direction as the above mentioned Rick.ca.
I also see on their forum that they actually almost everything you might what they think and suggest users, since response is practically zeros or very slow, I also see in their post to their forum, because the last three or four post, I am waiting for a response for at least the day or more days.
-
My theory would suggest "Zac" is the only employee assigned to keep AllRovi.com running. Not only is he busy, he knows if he asks for additional resources to make the changes users are asking for—he'll be fired. ;)
-

Would not have nothing against if they fired him and that such a misery as it is now the AllRovi.com that would also close, at which these changes we now also appears to have very poor taste, without any to do it and very stupid.
If you really need to recast what could be renovated and improved the AllMovie, Allmusic and AllGame, but a leader in ROVI Indeed, some have come to such a crazy idea, but let's do this, but no matter how users will react, but we'll see what happens will work in worst case a new page can be closed.
-
Somewhere I got the information that AllRovi is a commercial database and regular users but can not get to a commercial database if so do not pay for services, so I will be very disappointed say goodbye (of course, except if it comes up with some surprising changes) to be any thought about that you can use a plugin or script yet transferred any other information with AllRovi.com, except of course the manual method of copying data, which is of course very time-consuming for a large number of data to be copied.
-
I only used Allmovie for Ratings and Description. IMDB does a fantastic job at everything but Description. I now default my Description to MovieDB which does a fair job.
-

So far, we can now obtain information on new AllRovi.com only via Web searches, and this title:http://www.allrovi.com/search/movies/%s%u in PVD Web Search.

I notice you reported this to Rovi. I did as well. Unless they're complete morons, it should be fixed soon. :-\

I experimented a little with the old AllMovie script and changed some things and I've come so far that we transfer certain data from AllRovi.com, but only when I enter manually (copy) url address. Procedure Parse Searchresults it works, but it does not transfer data info, the script is working, but I think that the problem with BASE_URL.
The script I am certain categories of work for me, but when certain data is transferred into a custom field.
Add it AllRovi script for those who will now perhaps test it, easier to identify and correct the script to should also work correctly.

Considering it's a cache, I would expect it to eventually be updated to recognize these pages are no longer "valid"—they've been redirected to new pages at Rovi.

It seems that the same happens as in the google cache, because if you add in the search engine AllRovi URL is functioning normally, because when you add in the search engine old AllMovie URL does not work and displays the error mentioned above.
I strongly suspect that the server does not currently work, the more it is likely that this is really standing in the background for Rovi Corporation (this is their policy to completely forget the old AllMovie.com), which blocks the old AllMovie URLs with a specific tool that does not appear any more old AllMovie web pages.
But I hope to be wrong in this.
Edit:
Apparently I was wrong. Looks like a temporary server did not work, because now works again.
-
Apparently I was wrong.
Sometimes it's good to be wrong. ;)

Google cache - can be a peaceful goodbye to him because all the old AllMovie URL redirects to the new AllRovi site (almost all of the URL).
-

I think the web archive is more effective anyway.
Old AllMovie URLs like...
http://www.allmovie.com/work/casablanca-8482 or
http://www.allmovie.com/work/8482
...now redirect to AllRovi, where this URL is formed like this:
http://www.allrovi.com/movies/movie/casablanca-v8482
Most of the movies in my database can be found in the WayBack Machine web archive using a URL like...
http://web.archive.org/web/http://www.allmovie.com/work/casablanca-8482.
Note the movie identifier needs to be exactly the same as what AllRovi now uses, without the 'v' before the ID number.
With nostra's help, I hope we can revise the AllRovi movie script (http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php/topic,2487.msg12988.html#msg12988) to...
- Convert existing AllMovie URLs to AllRovi URLs so no title search is required.
- Construct the web archive URL from the AllRovi URL and save this in the URL and/or custom fields.
- Remove the old AllMovie URL from the URL field.

Test of my old AllMovie Url, I'm at the end of which the ID number add suffix "/allrovi.com", for example: http://www.allmovie.com/work/10-things-i-hate-about-you-177526/allrovi.com and came to the result that the AllRovi script looking for info and data transfer with AllRovi pages without having to script use search results function and then show window with titles of movies.
-
I think it would be easier if the script handled old URLs automatically. ;)

Yeah, I know it would be easier, but for now, this solution may be a good, until Nostra finds time to help solve the problem about this.
-
This seems like a ray of hope at the horizon.
Now I have the API key, but I have not done test of how it all works and what kind of information can I get there.

That said, we're going to be closing this particular Get Satisfaction channel and expect to open up methods of feedback again once we've got the planned changes in place.
...an interesting way to deal with negative feedback. :D
And...
We've got some big changes coming up in the near future based on a lot of the feedback we've gotten and some new direction we've been thinking about.
...which means we should expect to have to make big changes to our script. ::)

... which means again a few less brain cells for the co-authors of the current AllRovi script.

In the case of a corporation AllRovi is now a small new feature (I do not know how long ago it works), I've noticed myself until today:
When the movie or people want to access the old URL to a Web page, for example this url
http://www.allmovie.com/work/10-things-i-hate-about-you-177526
http://www.allmovie.com/work/100-girls-249188
http://www.allmovie.com/artist/chevy-chase-12488
allrovi url
http://www.allrovi.com/movies/movie/10-things-i-hate-about-you-v177526
the same page as for the above mentioned url,
is now opened slightly different web page, as an example, the web page opens with these URLs:
http://www.allrovi.com/movies/movie/100-girls-v249188
http://www.allrovi.com/name/chevy-chase-p+12488
In new AllMovie web pages, I noticed a little less information than in AllRovi
web pages. In the future we will see if anything changes in this regard.
-
Great. We now have three (including allmovie at web.archive.com) sites with the same information. ::)
I tested a sample of my AllRovi URL's and they all still go to AllRovi. So hopefully 10 Things I Hate About You being redirected to this new site is just an exception. :-\
-

Correction:
not web.archive.com but web.archive.org (http://www.archive.org/)

not web.archive.com but web.archive.org
Right. I notice many of those links are being redirected to the new site. I wonder if they all will in time. That will make it more difficult to access the old version in the archive. :(
-
Maybe this will help in future:
http://liveweb.archive.org/http://www.allrovi.com/search/?r=allmovie
http://liveweb.archive.org/http://www.allmovie.com/search/
-
I don't think so.
http://web.archive.org/web/http://www.allmovie.com/work/greys-anatomy-tv-series-323967
used to show the archive of the old Allmovie page for Grey's Anatomy. It's now redirected to the new site. Although the Wayback site explains how to view older versions (http://faq.web.archive.org/the-page-i-want-redirects-now-how-can-i-see-the-old-versions/), this doesn't seem to work.

I have a feeling that will happen the same way than before with Google Search.

On AllRovi movie web sites has been a change (or cancellation) to the Releases page [no more data on the old DVD editions(releases) of the movies]. DVD Releases Url opens basic movie web page. How it works AllRovi movie script given the changes that I do not know. Currently I can not verify and test the script.
-
How it works AllRovi movie script given the changes that I do not know.
I was saving just the link to the tab, which is of course now useless. So I deleted the data and removed that section of the script. For those saving the detail, I'm not sure what it does, but probably nothing (i.e., I don't think it will effectively delete any existing data). So we may as well leave the script as is for a time, in case the data returns.

Someday they may return data, we will see, maybe we will in the future again experience what a surprise from the AllRovi.com.

Apparently, it was a temporary error with the AllRovi.com. The error is corrected, Releases page is already back and working normally.

I love it when being lazy turns out to be the right answer. ;)

The Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/20101210073826/http://www.allmovie.com/) changed the url in the source code. I still find old AllMovie saved(cached) pages, but now with them you can not download more info data. If little change url address, the URL redirects to the new AllMovie page url address.
BTW:
I attach the script if you can anyone help to script work again.
I am already looking for solutions, but so far no solution.

Here is solution:
//Get URL
EndPos := Pos('">Overview</a>', HTML);
if EndPos > 0 then begin
curPos := PrevPos('<a href="', HTML, EndPos);
AddFieldValue(mfURL, 'http://web.archive.org'+Copy(HTML, curPos + 9, EndPos - curPos - 9));
end else
AddFieldValue(mfURL, MovieURL);
//Get URL
EndPos := Pos('">Overview</a>', HTML);
if EndPos > 0 then begin
curPos := PrevPos('<a href="', HTML, EndPos);
AddFieldValue(mfURL, 'http://web.archive.org'+Copy(HTML, curPos + 9, EndPos - curPos - 9));
end else
//AddFieldValue(mfURL, MovieURL); // Changed to:
AddCustomFieldValueByName('Urlw', '<link url="' + MovieURL + '">' + MovieURL + '</link>');
AddCustomFieldValueByName('Urlw1', '<link url="' + MovieURL + '">' + MovieURL + '</link>');
//Get Review URL
if GET_REVIEW then begin
EndPos := Pos('">Review</a>', HTML);
if EndPos > 0 then begin
curPos := PrevPos('<a href="', HTML, EndPos);
ExtraLinks[smReview] := 'http://web.archive.org'+Copy(HTML, curPos + 9, EndPos - curPos - 9);
end;
end;
//Get Cast URL
EndPos := Pos('">Cast</a>', HTML);
if EndPos > 0 then begin
curPos := PrevPos('<a href="', HTML, EndPos);
ExtraLinks[smCast] := 'http://web.archive.org'+Copy(HTML, curPos + 9, EndPos - curPos - 9);
end;
//Get Credits URL
if GET_CREDITS then begin
EndPos := Pos('">Production Credits</a>', HTML);
if EndPos > 0 then begin
curPos := PrevPos('<a href="', HTML, EndPos);
ExtraLinks[smCredits] := 'http://web.archive.org'+Copy(HTML, curPos + 9, EndPos - curPos - 9);
end;
end;
//Title
curPos := Pos('<span class="title">', HTML) + Length('<span class="title">');
EndPos := PosFrom('</span>', HTML, curPos);
AddCustomFieldValueByName('Titlew', Copy(HTML, curPos, EndPos - curPos));
//Poster
curPos := PosFrom('<tr><td valign="top"><img src="', HTML, EndPos);
if curPos > 0 then begin
curPos := curPos + Length('<tr><td valign="top"><img src="');
EndPos := PosFrom('"', HTML, curPos);
ExtraLinks[smPoster] := 'http://web.archive.org'+Copy(HTML, curPos, EndPos - curPos);
if Pos('noimage', ExtraLinks[smPoster]) > 0 then
ExtraLinks[smPoster] := '';
end;
I attach the script, which is now corrected.

The Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/20101210073826/http://www.allmovie.com/) changed the url in the source code.
Now, data can be transferred only from the side, which is archived and as the URL for this archived page.
Example for movie Donnie Darko:
http://web.archive.org/web/20090527121017/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115
Previously, this url sufficient to transfer all data from various archived page for a movie, but this is no longer the case. Now this url only transfers data from the Overview page (the first page for each movie). If you want to transfer data from other archived pages of a movie, you also have the url addresses of other archived pages.
Example for movie Donnie Darko:
http://web.archive.org/web/20090527143437/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/review
http://web.archive.org/web/20090529032858/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/cast
http://web.archive.org/web/20090529032903/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/credits
http://web.archive.org/web/20090529032853/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/awards
This is due to different days or different time periods, when the other side for a movie also archived.
Add the url addresses to:
The link to the Wayback Machine:
WEB Search Link:
http://web.archive.org/web/
http://wayback.archive.org/web/
The link to the AllMovie WEB Search:
AllMovie WEB Search Link URL's:
http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/* (http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/*)
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/* (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/*)
The all link to the AllMovie WEB Donnie Darko Movie:
http://web.archive.org/web/20090527121017/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115
http://web.archive.org/web/20090527143437/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/review
http://web.archive.org/web/20090529032858/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/cast
http://web.archive.org/web/20090529032903/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/credits
http://web.archive.org/web/20090529032853/http://allmovie.com/work/donnie-darko-237115/awards
The link to the Personal Video Database WEB Search:
PVD WEB Search Link URL's:
So far, we can now obtain information on old AllMovie only via Web searches, and this title: ...
title:http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/%s
or
title:http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/%s
or
title:http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://allmovie.com/work/%s
or
title:http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com:80/work/%s
... in PVD Web Search.
Notice:
Place it only underlined url address.
Example for movie Donnie Darko:
Here, add this to the search part of the url (donnie-darko-237115) or just a number (237115).
If there is movie archiving, you will find the results.
Example for movie 13 Going On 30
http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/13-going-on-30-285849 (http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.allmovie.com/work/13-going-on-30-285849)
http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://allmovie.com/work/285849 (http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://allmovie.com/work/285849)
I attach AllMovie WEB Archive URL's in zip format, where is a list of about 400 to 500 URLs films (movies lists in txt, nfo, html format) for all those who are old AllMovie data may also be interested. Some of these data are from May 2011, since then working AllRovi and from somewhere in March or April, 2012, this new web pages AllMovie, these data can not be more to be found.
AllMovie WEB Archive URL's in zip format is attached.

What happened to AllRovi?
12-23-2013, 12:00 AM
All I get at http://www.allrovi.com is "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable"; anyone know what's going on?
Maybe someone knows what's going on?
As a result, it is now AllRovi script (http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php/topic,2496.msg18055.html#msg18055) also useless, because it does not work anymore.

AllRovi web site is not working.
It has happened, changes at AllMovie web page, (http://www.allmovie.com/) which now has a new modified image.
