Title: VCDdb Import / Connect
Post by: Ttech on December 26, 2009, 02:08:04 am
Hi,
First off I'd like to thank you for the great piece of software. I used to use VCDdb but sadly it does not seem to be updated anymore. Would it be possible to import from the VCDdb XML export all the movies and add them into PVD? Or possibly use the VCDdb soap api. On a side note, the IMDB parser seems to be grabbing a div tag instead of the tagline for movies.

Some general ideas:
- MySQL / SQLite
- Add custom Movie Categories (I didn't see it but I may have missed it)
- Add/Edit Media Types (DVD, HD-DVD, etc) and allow for ammount of media / disks.

Currently you can only import from CSV, MS Excel and AMC.

Please get the updated plugin from the download section: http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php?action=down

Both options are already there. To ady any list go to Tools -> Preferences -> Lists

hehe. Sorry about that, most of my questions seem redundant considering its on the front page. The SQLite question was in reguards to importing VCDdb data. I was able to import everything.
