Suggestion or proposal:
I wonder if that made additional file path to be file path 1 and file path 2
and that the file path 2 by working as a file path 1st
Example, I have a movie file on disk L: \ MOVIES \ Comedy \ Subtitles \ 0 \ 100 girls \ 100 Girls.avi. in already have information such as file path about the file
but still I would like of that information or this information of file
K: \ MOVIES \ 100 girls \ 100 Girls.avi.
was again somewhere elsewhere on the skin.
Thanks

Are the two files the same? What is the purpose of the second file? Whatever that is, it would probably be better served by using a custom field.

OK, I'll explain
This I thought a single file with a length of 700MB, the other instance with a length of 950Mb.
And at two different external disk, these two files,
And how or what this would render the custom field.
Thanks

Sorry, I'm unable to answer your question without understanding the purpose of the second file.

This file is in English Language on external disk L:.
the other instance with a length of 950Mb
This file is in German Language on external disk K:.
And at two different external disk, these two files
Therefore, this used to have one address file and two links to the data file path.
Of course if at all possible to do.

Video files normally contain multiple translations in the same file, so don't expect your two-file situation to be handled by the program. I think the best you can do is save both in the one file path field. Add the native language version first, then the translation. Unfortunately, the video and audio codec information will be for the second file only. Edit Language and Translation so they correctly show the native and translation languages. You might want to record Translation as (for example) "German (second file)" so it's clear the translation is a separate file, rather than a second audio stream in the first file.
Playing these should work fine. The original language version will always play first. If you prefer to view the translation, just skip to the second file.

My solution if I have two copies of a movie is create a second PVD record (use the duplicate command), then edit the Title to reflect the difference (eg. append "(HD)" or "(Eng)" or "(Ger)") and manually set file path to the second copy on the film.
All PVD search, display & Play then work as normal with standard skins.

Treating the other file as episode would satisfy Ivek's needs? No manual steps?

Treating the other file as episode would satisfy Ivek's needs?
Yes, but at the cost of turning the movies into series.
No manual steps?
This would probably require the "manual step" of renaming the files so the scanner would recognize them as episodes. If the renaming doesn't count as a manual step, then I think the effort would be better spent naming the files something like [Title] ([Year]) Language.ext and letting the scanner put them both in File path automatically. This would be particularly efficient considering the files are apparently on different drives.

Yes to different drives.

Yes there are pros and cons for all suggestions mentioned here.
But, the original Ivek's need for a "more-than-one-file-path in a single entry" is what caused only possible approach on this that I could imagine: "more-than-one-file-path in a something-that-might-be-thought-of-as-single entry"

I hope you can ask for a favor.
Write to the email and more explanation on this and related topics.
I think we better understand the Serbian language.
Thanks

Ivek,
Please don't get me wrong, but we all want to help you here, and I don't feel comfortable at all that I'm more advanced user than you. Me too, I'm still learning a looot about and of PVD. I think we all can contribute to PVD and to each other. Ten people are smarter than three.
Feel free to ask anything you want, and I promise I'll do my best to further explain it to you. It's not a problem at all.
But, consider all choices given here, before.

buah,
Feel free to translate any posts to/from Serbian, if you're so inclined and think it would help. I'm guessing you could use something like Google Translate (http://translate.google.com/#en|sr|), and then (the most important part) clean it up so the technical meaning is not lost.
BTW, when I translate my own post to Serbian and back to English I find the result difficult to understand. So I understand how difficult this is for Ivek, and how important human translation is. For example...
BTW, when I translated his message into Serbian and back to English to find the result hard to understand. So I understand how difficult this is for Leko, how important and human translation. :D
Ivek,
If you are using a translator, I suggest you post in Serbian, followed by the translation. Then at least buah will understand if the translation is not clear.
Ако користите преводилац, предлажем вам пост у српском, а потом превод. Онда барем буах ће разумети ако превод није јасно.

Ok, I'll try...
This is how my previous post would look like, automatically translated from Serbian into English
Iveco, do not misunderstand me, but all we want to help you and I do not feel very comfortable that I am the more advanced user than you. I also still a lot of PVDu and learn from him. I think we all can contribute to PVDu and each other. Ten people were smarter than three.
Feel free to ask anything you want, and I promise that I will give my best to explain further. It is not a problem.
But consider all previous proposals, which are those given here..
What I need to know Rick is which English is harder to understand in this particular case: mine, or Google's? Are you willing to correct spelling and grammar in any, just to catch some things?

In this case, they're about the same. I figure if Google mangles the meaning badly, your English is good enough you'll know it. I'll make changes if I'm confident of what correction is required.

Anyway thank you guys.

Ivek,
Instead of deleting posts, than posting again with some changes, i suggest you to use "Modify" option to change the text you wrote.

I tried several ways but there was no effect.
Since it has been so much testing
so that even more do not know how and what I was doing
if you ask me.
-
What were you trying to do? ???
To save multiple files in File path, separate them with "|".

Thanks
