I was wondering if you can add a different display to show hours and minutes example: 1Hrs 35Mins?

Are you aware of the "Use minutes for duration field" option (at Preferences - Movies - Information card)? I think it's clear enough what a value formatted as "HH:MM" means. If minutes are used, "minutes" can be added to the skin immediately following the field.

I have it set that way now but I think it would look nicer and cleaner if it used the abbreviations.  And using the minutes one is just that minutes not converted, I'm not lazy it would just be nice is all.

What do you mean by this. If selected, duration should be displayed in minutes. This option is provided because movie run times are traditionally quoted in minutes.

when someone asks you how long is the movie do you say 151 minutes or do you say 2hrs 31mins.?  I'm just saying visually it would Look better and make more sense than 02:31:00.

Maybe some day there will be an option to format such values, but I do not think it will be soon.

Like any movie buff, I would say "151 minutes" and display it as "Runtime: 151." 8)

If I were referring to a time duration in a different context, I would say "2 hours and 31 minutes," but would display it as "2 hrs 31 min" only if there were no caption. Otherwise, it should be "2:31." But don't make me consult my Chicago Manual of Style. ;)
