Title: IMDB import option imports countires from moviemeter.nl instead of from IMDB...
Post by: arj0n on June 22, 2010, 02:11:27 pm
I added a new movie and only filled in the title and copy-pasted the url from IMDB and moviemeter.nl [dutch site].
Then I import the movie info [all fields selected] from IMDB.
When finished, it imported the dutch countries from moviemeter, not the countries from IMDB.

Why is this?

So for now I have to do this to make it work:
Add a new movie and only filled in the title and copy-pasted the url from IMDB.
Import movie info.
Add the url from moviemeter [dutch site].
Import dutch movieinfo into comment field and the rating from moviemeter.nl.

At Preferences - Plugins, configure Overwrite fields... for each plugin.

Thanx rick, that was the problem.

There's only one minor thing which is a bit confusing:
When selecting the button "None" for "Plugins, configure Overwrite fields..." I assumed the tickerboxes should be unselected.
But instead all the boxes are selected as with a green square.
So there seem to be are 2 manual options: unselected & selected and one option by pressing the none button: the green square.

That's right—the buttons don't do exactly what they say they'll do. Is it a buglet, or just at little something to keep us on our toes? ;)

The green square means "add only if the field is empty." This is handy for using the plugin as an alternate source—to get data only when the preferred source does not have the data.
