Title: PVD 9.9.21 Export Fields -How to Do?
Post by: gear on May 08, 2013, 07:42:43 pm
Hello All,

A couple of days ago, I "lost" my 6months old WD 1 TB "MyBook3" external Hard Drive, due to Factory failure (burned controler PCB). No recovery possible!!

I had about 100 films on it (out of a total of about 400 in my database). All of them are included in my PVD database under the field "Media Label: " where it is mentioned the "MyBook3" -the damaged one- (as I have "MyBook", "MyBook2", as well.

Haven't found a way to filter only those fields: ID, title, Year, Size (in MB) and Media Label, and Export them to CSV, to open them in Excel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Regards,
gear

There is a filter called "Media Label" and there is a CSV Export template (well, you would probably add some additional fields to it).

What exactly is the problem?

Thank you both for the quick answer.

I was trying to find out how to print a list of the lost titles in the damaged My Book3 HDD. The only field that distiguished them from the rest ones, was the "Media Label" field.

Checked the Nostra proposal but it was too difficult (for my level) to modify the CSV template...so I went with the "afrocuban" solution and printed out the filtered result.

Many thanks for the help!
