Title: How to rename files/folder according to database?
Post by: Morgenstern72 on December 22, 2013, 09:17:56 pm
This post http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php?topic=3051.0 mentions it is possible to ename files/folder according to database. But how is this done?

Thank your for your help :)

PS: What I ultimately want to do is use a nice GUI for selecting movies (like XBMC) parallel to PVD. But XBMC is quite strict with file names....

But then PVD looses all connections to the files!?

But then PVD looses all connections to the files!?

You should be able to rescan, and PVD will pick them up as changed path or duplicates.
If the no of renames is small. You can manually edit the path name. in PVD.
Maybe try it on a new database wit a small No of files and see how it works.
