i tried to import database from Ant Movie Catalog but nothing happened!
i tried to scan folders for 2 movies and catch imdb info but title becomes [var ue_t0=window.ue_t0||+new Date();]
i added a series , also the title changed, no picture , couldn't access the tvdb saying "no movie found "!!
so either i am doing sth wrong or this software is a piece of shit

Welcome to the our forum, fireheart2008.
can you please make a video tutorial?
You can, why not?
i tried to import database from Ant Movie Catalog but nothing happened!
Unfortunately, for this I have no answer.

For this one problem, please refer to topics in Support board (http://www.videodb.info/forum_en/index.php/board,1.0.html), where you will find answers to this problem and what to do to save him.

This plugin is no longer working for at least two years and more. Some other plugins and scripts are unfortunately no longer work.
so either i am doing sth wrong ...
No, actually you do not do anything wrong, but such is the current situation. The author of this program (Nostra) is currently too laden with private matters. Currently, no time to deal with this problem in order to update the program, plug-ins, scripts, and other components of this program. It does not have time for this.
Another reason why this is happening is the fact that the website very often change the image (appearance) and source code of web pages. The writers of the plugins and scripts unfortunately we can no longer follow this trend, what's going on websites and successfully adapt to this.
... or this software is a piece of shit
No, it's not.

What did you mean by this.

also i couldn't group them into a [movies ] group and a [series ] group
Just create two separate databases, one for movies and another for series.

Groups (Movies and Series) coexist in the same database. See attachment.
