It looks like movie cataloguers are vanishing slowly, like everything goes online. You set everything on IMDb and goodbye privacy...
I'm looking for alternatives as a backup, and this is what I found:
1. Movienizer looks the best, but you have to pay for it, it hasn't updated since 2020, and most important - it doesn't support UTF8, and whole PVD, logically and naturally is in UTF8.
2. Ant Movie Catalogue can import from PVD exports (csv, or txt), and can have as many as wished custom fields, but it is ugly, and again, it doesn't support UTF8!?
3. At the end - emdb. It supports PVD import, it supports UTF8, but - no custom fields, only few of them, and it's not as nice as others...
4. Still checking coolllector, but it doesn't look good so far... Will be back with news
Bah... No cataloguer as PVD ever...

I always thought my interesting in updating my movie database will last shorter then PVD itself, and I was wrong and I am using PVD for the last 14 years, and started to keep tracking of watched movies in 1990. But, beside being wrong, I am now also desperate, hahah. So much superb I see PVD.

Is anyone else having trouble replying to most topics or creating a new one? This is the only section I could find where the "reply" button was available.

I browsed through the forums and didn't see any mention of it, so I'm glad it's known. Is there any estimated date of when it will be fixed? I also tried joining the alternate forum but can't seem to get approval. Is that a known issue as well?

I was able to make a new post in one of the other sections. Didn't realize others were having problems. Glad I stumbled across THIS section, or I might have thought the site was dead entirely. =(
