Yikes, that's terrible news. What would you recommend as the next best option for getting cast and other information?

I don't know what the next best option would be for getting the cast and other information.

Hmm, okay, how about just other options in general?

Python (+Selenium) scripts and PVD Selenium MOD IMDb Movie, People and FilmAffinity Scripts.

PVD Selenium MOD IMDb Movie, People and FilmAffinity Scripts only when or if an Afrocuban user comes back and updates them and they can be used again.

Thanks! I'll give those a try.

Is there a newer version of the IMDB script than IMDB_[EN][HTTPS]_TEST_2c.psf?  For the past few months this one hasn't been pulling much information at all for me.

A keywords script, awesome!  Somehow I never noticed that post before now.  Anyway, thanks, Ivek!

I agree, it is a very sad and frustrating thing.  I certainly appreciate Ivek's efforts to keep PVD alive, and I still use it pretty frequently, but I'm not sure how much longer that will be the case.  For example, the tags/keywords feature was something that made PVD unique, and it was the feature I used the most.  But that information is no longer downloaded when I add new movies, so it's been very disappointing lately.  I think I'll be experimenting with other programs soon to see if I can find something that will do the job until another standout comes along.

I browsed through the forums and didn't see any mention of it, so I'm glad it's known.  Is there any estimated date of when it will be fixed?  I also tried joining the alternate forum but can't seem to get approval.  Is that a known issue as well?

Is anyone else having trouble replying to most topics or creating a new one?  This is the only section I could find where the "reply" button was available.

Thanks for the error. The culprit is the poster download code, which I also assumed was because I myself had a reported error when I tested the script. The error will probably be fixed tomorrow.

That's awesome.  Thank you again for all your assistance and hard work!

Changing the proxy settings and using Proxomitron has allowed the Allmovie script to work in most cases.  Thanks, Ivek!

I've only gotten one error so far, on one title, and that's Zombie Dearest (https://www.allmovie.com/movie/zombie-dearest-v570551).  The error is:

HTTP/1.1 400 Host Not Found

No change when using the other version of the file.   :(

I don't know if this helps at all, but if I try running the script with only a title, and no link in the URL field, I get this error:

IOHandler value is not valid.

I've attached the log file.  I receive that error every time I run the Allmovie script.  I tried it on a few different titles and got the same result each time.

Allmovie now appears as an import option, but I get the following error when I run it:

Socket Error #11001
Host not found.

My anti-virus program kept quarantining that file for some reason, but once I made it an exception it seems to be working.  Thanks, Ivek!

Okay, here's what the log file said about the Allmovie script:

(12/27/2019 5:40:41 PM) Compiling script: AllMovie.com HTTPS.psf
(12/27/2019 5:40:41 PM) Could not compile script: AllMovie.com HTTPS.psf
[Error] (402:75): Unknown identifier 'AllMovie'

I've downloaded the file and put it in the scripts folder, but Allmovie still doesn't appear as an import option, or in the plugins section under Preferences.  Did I miss a step?

You now have the filter set to make all movies visible, and now in the Filters tab, switch to Visible and only see blue-highlighted movies.

Thanks!  Never would have found that otherwise.  :-)

I'm also getting the following error message when I try to import using the IMDB plugin:
"This script needs the external file for work.  PVdbDownPage.exe  Read script text for further information."
Where can I find this file?

Hey, guys.  I just downloaded the 1.0.2.7 MOD and moved my collection file over, but when I opened it up, I have a list of 53,931 movies instead of the 9,000 or so that I actually own.  In the list, my owned movies are highlighted in blue while the rest are in gray.  What's the easiest way to get rid of all those that shouldn't be there?

When I try the Proxomitron method, I am getting this error message when I start the program: "Error opening block file... C:\Program Files (x86)\Proxomitron\Lists\RE-Lists\Bypass-RE.txt".  It only does this after I replace the default.cfg file.  It still seems to work, though, so not a big deal.  Thanks for this solution!
