the IMDB movie plugin doesnt always get the poster, see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2991516/ for one that fails

Feature Suggestions / Export to epub
« on: December 29, 2013, 05:33:11 pm »
I would love a feature to be able to export movie information into an epub (so that I can review/browse/read the information on multiple devices with photos) Having a epub format would enable a nice portable format that multiple ereaders and tables can use which can provide a more enriched experience than a plain text list

OK, who do I need to bribe to get this minor feature?  :)  Right now its a pain with multiple movies with the same title and different years.

is it possible to configure the regex file scanner to read and use the tt numbers in a file name for IMDB lookup? It would be awsome if I could just set the tt as part of the file name, and add a regex to search for that to populate records. Would make resolving issues with the same movie title across multiple years so much easier

Feature Suggestions / URL primary key
« on: July 14, 2011, 01:31:52 am »
I often (99%) get my information from a single website (IMDB) and I would like to be able to force a check for URLs as a primary key for records to avoid duplication. See attached file for example where a role was duplicated.

this database is fairly old, (Ive been updating it for about two years) Ive used three plugins IMDB, allmovies and TVDB plugins. Is there a simple method for dumping movie titles and then re-importing all the data en-mass?

« on: October 19, 2010, 07:14:36 pm »
Ive got a database with about 350 movies and a dozen TV shows (plus all of there actors). I sometimes run across movies that are duplicates (in the actors information tab), So I decided to "Optimize" the database, everything except "delete movie duplicates" works just fine, however when I try to use that option the program runs for 4+ hours and seems to  be hung. Is this a bug, something that needs fixed, or just normal behavior?

« on: October 11, 2010, 05:16:24 pm »
When importing moves/actors, the move imports perfectly, (including actors and their roles), however when I go to update the actors by themselves (to get their full background) imdb_people imports the year and title of the films that they where in, but fails to load the roles
