Support / KROOZBOX service
« on: August 19, 2018, 02:23:57 pm »
After a fresh Windows 10 Pro x64 installation, I  installed a few non portable programs like:

Microsoft SQL Server
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_181-b13)
Firebird_2_5 and where service "FirebirdServerDefaultInstance" is running

Now, in order to install Kroozbox service, I begin with "startme.bat" in Kroozbox application.
After, I checked that the access to the interface with my database.pvd, from my browser at http://192.168.0.11:9008, is OK.

Next I run the batch file to install the krozbox service.
Here comes the problem, service installed(?) but not running, has status "starting".
In correct way it should be running and depending on Firebird service.

Please help me! I know nothing about Java syntax and its parameters.

See syntax that inside sartme.bat:
set path=%path%;./library
java -cp ./library/Kroozbox.jar;./library/jaybird-full-2.1.6.jar;./library/mysql-connector-java-5.1.6-bin.jar;./library/jtds-1.2.jar;./library/*; org.gdgsystems.kroozbox.Kroozbox

See the output result given by startme.bat. (shouln´t exist a reference to Firebird?):
C:\Data\NMT\kroozbox2_0a>startme.bat

C:\Data\NMT\kroozbox2_0a>set path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Oracle\Java\javapath;C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\WINDOWS\System32\OpenSSH\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\140\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\140\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\140\DTS\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\140\DTS\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\Client SDK\ODBC\130\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\Client SDK\ODBC\130\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\140\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\;C:\Users\Domus\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps;./library

Hello Ivek. I'm very grateful for all you´ve done all this time, during and after Nostra.
Now I'm getting the HTTP/1.1.404 Not Found error, just after following all steps for Proxomiton. Please help, as I still intend to keep PVD networking my old Popcorn A-110.

@Gear

Try to import/refresh imdb data after filling URL field with the correct address: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0038787/

Absolute gem. I trust it to manage 1900 titles and serving home network though Firebird.
Thanks.

Here is my actual network flow:

PVD 0.9.9.21 -> Firebird -> Kroozbox -> PCH A-110 -> TV

Any incompatibility issues when migrating to PVD 1.0.2.2 Beta?

Instead of Movie Master (Ctrl+M) I use (Ctrl+N) to add a new movie.

1) Write something in Original Title. No need to be the exact title name; it will be overwritten by step 4.
2) Copy the address from IMDB and paste to URL field in PVD (i.e. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0043014/)
3) Press Enter key.
4) Press Ctrl+Alt+I to get IMDB's data information.
5) Go to Import and get cover from Amazon or from other you prefer.
6) File Path: browse to the directory where movie is and select the folder name. In case of DVDs is enough, I think.

Maybe it seems too much work. Believe it isn't and you are sure all data is accurate.

Nostra, this is strange: I can't find imdbconf.cfg in the PVD folder.
Only https://rapidshare.com/files/2273266258/pvdconf.ini
