Support / Re: Imdb Movie script + IMDB problem
« on: December 10, 2012, 06:06:30 pm »
I am using PVD 0.9.9.21 with Win XP Pro SP3, modified lately with the new script of Ivek23, as the IMDB 0.9.8.5 stoped importing (mentioned elsewhere in the forum).

The script works fine for newer movies but faced a problem with an old one. Tried to get in the PVD "Notorious" (1946 film), and I am getting stuck at searching (see attachement 1). The PVD freezes and have to close it down.

Hi.

Do You have the latest version of the "Imdb movie script" that Ivek23 wrote?? (The one with "repaird search", dated 7/12 20012)

For me it works just fine to search for "Notorious (1946) and get the information with the "New Movie Master" in
PVD Verson 1.0.2.3 and Ivek23:s latest version of the "IMDB movie script" (Batch file "IMDB Movie script+IMDB[En]!)

Am I doing something wrong? Or is it some settings to be done???

You need to add or change a regex in the configuration to properly match the filename scheme you're using. As long as all movies use that pattern, it should be fine matching '[Title].[Year].'.

Thanks for the quick respond.

Is it not allready an regex for that in the program, or am I just "stupid"... :)

Support / Scan folders for new movies [SOLVED]
« on: November 22, 2012, 03:30:49 pm »
Hi!

Question about "Scan folders for new movies/changed paths..".

When the Database is new/empty it works just fine.. or even avesome.

See the example with 6 movies in to an empty database. (see att. pic)

But when I "scan" in a database containing records the reult is different. (see att. pic ). The result is always the same.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is it some settings to be done???

Or is it just as it is? andI have to live with that. :)

Thanks for the reported error, error has been resolved. I'm sorry, because I did not with 1.0.23 beta tested script, I tested with 0.9.9.21, fault was not visible.

Repaired Imdb Movie(1) Script is attached here.

Thank You for quick respons, now it seems to work just fine...

Have a nice day.

Thanks Ivek23!

I found your scripts very useful, but there is something strange with the "Imdb Movie(1) script". when the number of user votes ends with a 0 (zero). It returns a  value divided by 10. (It cuts of the "0")

Development / Custom Swedish Language File for PVD 1.0.2.3
« on: November 19, 2012, 10:54:12 pm »
Hi!

I did try to translate PVD Ver. 1.0.2.3 to Swedish.

There is some items that are not presens in the english.rc file, so there is some items wich is not translated.

For use....  rename the file to 'cutsom.lng' and place it in the program directory.

If You find any errors or some "odd" translations please let me know.. :)

Support / Custom.lng (custom language file) on a server
« on: November 17, 2012, 06:29:28 pm »
Hi!

I can't get a custom language file on a server to work.

It works fine as 'custom.lng' in the program directory and as '(dbname).lng' in the DB folder when you open it as a local database but not when you connect to the database via a server.
