Hey, just upgraded to 1.0.2.7 and found an UI ( think its a bug) - see the attachment the red arrows. On the 0.9.9.21 that bad can be scrolled to the right as much as needed, now it cant be moved more then as it is shown in the picture.

Bug found:
you can't move the scroll bar past a point so you can see the long named movies more easily on the list.
The red arrow illustrates the max point where the scroll bar can be pulled to the right side.
Graphic bug on PVD VinT skin: the ratings appear corrupted sometimes, the graphic bug can be fixed by editing movie or selecting another movie.

Feature Suggestions / Replacement for separated internet rating

Hello, i think i would be a good idea to have instead of separated ratings from IMDB, rotten tomatoes, etc a field where all the ratings from the internet sites is stored as an average of the ratings gotten trough scripts. Example in the attachment.

Same problem here, the Title and Original Title fields doesn't update from the value it gets using the scan folders for new movies. I'm using the last version 0.9.8.14.

IMDb plugin doesn't take the regional settings from the IMDb account into consideration, it downloads the data according to the IP where the user is located: as im from Romania the plugin downloads all titles and movie connections in romanian instead of English as the IMDB account is configured.

Development / Imdb scrip bug regarding regional titles

Hello, there seems to be a bug with the titles of the movies the imdb script gets off the movie script and people script. The bug is that even if the script has configured the username and pass of imdb site, and imdb site correctly displays the titles in the original language, but when the when the script gets the movie name or the imdb people scripts gets the filmography of a person some titles are in Romanian language ( my native language). If i don't log in my Imdb.com account the imdb site looks exactly like the script gets the info with the movies in Romanian.

Hello,
Is there any way to add in the database a custom item containing IMDB ID automatically? The reasoning behind this View > Group By> IMDB ID though found out duplicates fast.
Atm I've added the IMDB ID custom item as select list and I complete it manually with the IMDB id from the url field. Or maybe there is a faster way to identify duplicates, I know of the optimize database way but I want to be able to see what i delete so i can delete them from the HDD too, or gift the CD/DVD if I have more then one.

PS: Don't know if its relevant but i run the last version of PVD (stable one) on Windows 7 X64 Ultimate.

Easiest way its in my opinion that new accounts can't start new threads or reply to new thread till that reply or thread has been accepted by an admin. You can make it so that new accounts need 5 posts before they can freely post without being check.

I know the name its Blackout, as i linked the imdb number also, if you import that record into PVD the date its automaticly set to 2008 instead of 2007 as should be.
The same error its for http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0897347/ The Echo (I) (2008) which its set to 2009. I atached a picture with the error.
The error probably comes from how IMDB shows the release info in the movie page. Example: for http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0897347/ The Echo (I) (2008) the release date on the movie page its 28 May 2009 (South Korea), but when you enter the full release dates the 1st date its France 25 May 2008 (Cannes Film Market)

IMDB states its from 2007 but when importing the record PVD puts it in 2008

Well about collecting different versions of the same movie let's take 1 example: Lord of the Rings - dvd i have the extendend version of the movie, on bluray i only have the theatrical version.
Also on the space matter i'm not concern about size, only was concern about database integrity ( let's take a example in my case: The dark knight i have 2 versions 1 dvdrip and 1 bluray each with around 12 posters each, each poster being 1-2 mb jpegs - only that movie totaling 2*12*1.5mb = 36 mb)
Well, the linkage was only a suggestion, i have np with the size of my database atm ( 712 mb and 1444 movies).

Talk / SD/HD movies and personal database handaling

My 1st topic and at the same time question is how people are keeping their SD and HD movies, on the same database or separate databases, and a suggestion for future updates, would be nice in the appearance tab in preferences you can set different list background color depending on the resolution of the movie (example yellow SD, orange HD 720p, red 1080p) or depending on a new category( or other name) on every movie you set manually when you add a movie ( example drop down list: SD, HD 720p, HD 1080p). Thank you for the wonderful software and keep up the good job.
