Did you try to start PVD in debug mode?
Just call PVD with the parameter -debug or use the predefined debug.bat in the PVD program Folder. In the help menu, you will find an entry called "log". Use this to show the log. You will see notifications about all the plugins. Check if any errors have occured. If everything is ok, clear the log and start the csv-import. Read the log again to see if it contains any hints why the import did not work.

I like that idea and will try it. Thanks for the hint.

I installed PVD, updated all components and seem to have the correct skin. As stated above, there ist no difference compared to the version you posted.
If that is correct, people just have to use the update function and the skin should be ok.

Support / Organize files / How to move videos to separate folders

Several movies are stored in one folder. Now I would like to create a separate folder for each movie with the movie name as folder name and then move the movie into that folder. Can that be accomplished by the function "Organize files".
If yes, how is it done?
When I use the function "Organize files" on files that have already a seperate folder, PVD moves the complete folder together with all files stored in that folder (movie, .nfo, pictures). That's pretty cool.

Hi fuser,
do you want to export from PVD into another database or the other way round? I am migration data from and to other databases via xml files and locally saved images. You can easily adapt existing scripts to take care of your custom fields. Have a look at the scripts I published in the template and scripts forum lately. If you need any assistance or if I should write a script for you, don't hesitate to ask.

I suggest that you replace the classic skin by a fresh downloaded version and check again. I once ago changed one field in the classic skin and had the same effekt. The custom fields were gone. I replaced a standard field in the main section by a custom field to achieve that.
So even if you did not hassle with the skin, it may have gone corrupt any other way.

- When you add user defined fields, do press "Add" before pressing "OK"? You can check this by entering the menu for custom fields again. Are your new fields visible in the list?
- In the standard template user fields are displayed in a white box below the blue box with the main data but above the technical data. Only fields with values are shown. Try entering edit mode. All fields should be visible.

I can confirm this. I am using Windows 7 x64 and have the task bar on the right side but the outcome is the same. If you set the task bar to auto hide (what I normally don't do
) and maximize PVD there is no chance to access the task bar.36

Is it possible to save posters, screenshots etc with out creating any export text file? First I have tried to export the pictures with my MovingPictures .nfo file, but I do not want to have any XML entries for the pictures in the created .nfo file. I just want the pictures to be saved in the Folder with the movie file. This I could not get done. So as a workaround I wrote another export template to export the pictures which creates a separate file called images.nfo that can be deleted afterwards. Not beautiful, but working. Is there any other way?
