I use both, 1.x and 0.9x versions. Right click on an image in Firefox -> Copy Image -> PastefromClipboard in PVD. Nope.

It doesn't work for me.

EDIT: It works for the screen shots and posters, but not for covers!

Neither "Paste from clipboard" option works, although offered. That would make things easier, too. A lot...

Thanks for the tip. I thought some of plugins could've been used to import screenshots.

Is there a way? No plugin works for me.

365
Just focus on picture 3: On the main page original title is German. There is no Serbian title release, so the main page title is in English.

Now, look on picture 4 what is imported to PVD: German title is imported to <origtitle> field and that's ok, but also German title is imported into <Title> field, instead English title to be imported as the main page title.

What PVD is expected is to import imdb original title to <origtitle>, and the imdb main page title to <Title> field, in whatever language it is, right?

Did I clarify enough now?

366
Title field is set to be overwritten by plugin. Unfortunately, if there's no local release title on the main page, original title is imported both to <origtitle> and <Title> field. You can try to reproduce the problem if you find the movie without German release title (as I remember, you're in Germany).

Thanks, anyway.

"Minus one"? It should. Unfortunately, I have no ideas left.

Is there a way to automatically import imdb main page title to a <Title> field?

Thanks!

Another one:

Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge (2008) isn't an adult movie, according to allmovie.  ;D

http://www.allmovie.com/movie/the-housemaid-v317173
http://www.allmovie.com/movie/el-camino-v434425

These two URLs script (AllMovie or AllRovi script) in a single search finds is verified.

Unfortunately it's not

For the first movie, original title is "Hanyo", and as I understood the script searches by <origtitle>, not by <title> - which is proved in picture 1.jpg attached by search within PVD, also the same search AllMovie.com by origtitle . Why then, script searches by original title, but not by <title>, cause obviously allmovie.com has no accurate database of original titles in "ALTERNATE TITLE" FIELD? Wouldn't be more reasonable then to search by title?

It's the same with the second movie. It's original title isn't "El camino", but "Camino", that's why it couldn't have been found.

But, look at the Google with "Hanyo" only-term search. Perfect match? BUT HOW THE HELL GOOGLE FOUND "HANYO" ON ALLMOVIE, WHEN "HANYO" ISN'T STATED ANYWHERE ON ALLMOVIE.COM FOR THE MOVIE FROM 1960????

Is it possible to incorporate google search results in allmovie script, not to search allmovie directly, but via google, so it extracts all allmovie's url from the first ten google results that have "vxxxxxx", then deletes everything after "-vxxxxx" in such urls, and returm us search results? Such a script for all movie would hit all original titles and adult genre in first couple of matches (depending on how often original title is used in cinematography).

Thanks for the rovi simple script anyway, but still no luck with these titles!

That doesn't include one setting for enabling/disabling all hotkeys, but I've never seen such a thing in any software.

Well, there is "First time" for everything.  ;D

Nostra,

Post a screenshot of your Advanced Search Dialog with the query.
Screenshots attached. They speak for themselves, I believe.

Rick,

Before continue reading, keep in mind that:
- I already had my series/seasons/episodes list set up with only the ones I have "In collection" - In a list I didn't have any season/episode which wasn't "In colection". I don't want them in a list.
- Data for those were imported long ago (had their urls already).
- Treated data as obsolete, I wanted to mass update the data.
- Filtered series, mass updated the data for the series, after which I planned to manually update every set of episodes in a season that is "In collection"
- Yep, I forgot to turn off "Download Episodes".
- Wanted to get a list "Not in collection" of seasons and episodes in order to delete them.
- No luck.

Now,

Because if you have a filter set that hides the results you're expecting from a search
Filter is applied before the search. If I use "-1" for the search, it works, as I said.

If 'in collection' means you have media, then that is determined by the existence of a [File Path]

It could be determined, but it doesn't have to be. Imagine I borrowed the movie from you (or rented a movie), watched it, scanned it, got you movie back. Is in this scenario "In collection"="File path"? Nope, I think. In my scenario, and maybe it's my only, "File path" means where on the media movie was, not in whose possession the media itself is. Location on media->Possession of media-> Location of media (if "Possession=Yes")(Shelf No1). That's my beloved scenario ;D

To the rest of your post: yes, that's how I'm forced to do it. Manually research every series, and deleting sufficient seasons/episodes that aren't "In collection". Don't forget that sometimes seasons come to a more than one dvd, and maybe I have only one DVD, but when importing season data I get data for the whole season. That's how's possible that some episodes of the season are "In collection", and some aren't.

Thanks for your time! Maybe you find that I'm a bit too active recently, but hey, find positives: first, I intensively spend my time with this software jewel, which might speaks that it's more addictive than FB (;D), and second, I'm sure I spared other users' time a lot to write about the same things. Hope they will find their answers, whether the questions are issue-related, or strategy organizing related, or whatever PVD related.

Cheers

The remaining pages of the search hits are AllMovie script not found and is required to manually enter the URL to the script then finds. These errors, which rarely occurs (at least I think so) in the search results, I do not know how to resolve this problem.

I tested the script in silent mode off and what I can say is that about some 10-15% of the movies aren't found in the first ten hits (on the firs page). What I noticed is, that if I used google to search allmovie.com for a specific title, I got 100% hits in first two results (the movie's always correct, but the first result might be /releases). Is it possible to use this information to improve the script?

Examples of the movies that aren't listed on the first ten search results at allmovie.com:

Feature Suggestions / Hotkeys
« on: May 02, 2013, 04:06:40 pm »
Nostra

1. Do you find it reasonable to "Enable hotkeys" as an option in Preferences, not enabled by design as the default?

Most people, I believe, doesn't use, or can't remember all hotkeys. Especially when "common" and widely used hotkeys in other software or Windows, do something completely different in PVD ("Esc", for example). And especially when unintentionally pressing some key combination: sometimes the action is irreversible and the damage is big. Not to speak about uncredited hotkeys...

2. If "Yes" under 1. do you find it reasonable to enable setting our own combination of hotkeys?

Me personally, find it useful enabling CTRL+E to edit the movie in any version of PVD, for example (CTRL+SHIFT+S for "Save as...", CTRL+N for "New Movie Master" instead of New record, because we all use "New" very, very rarely, etc, etc). I'm used to use it.

Both suggestions, at least, are common for any third-party software, as I'm aware of it.
