If you can export your movies to CSV or MS Excel, then it should be fairly unproblematic. It is a bit more difficult to transfer images, so usually people just mass import them again from internet sources.

It works fine on Windows 7 Ultimate here. Try to uninstall PVD completely and install it again.

I can't reproduce the problem. Please provide screenshots and log from Personal Video Database -> Help -> Log or if you are using Personal Video Database 0.9, then start PVD with -debug comman line parameter and select Help -> Log after reproducing the problem.

What is your current imdb plugin version. How did you setup the "Overwrite fields" options and the plugin itself?

Check access permissions for the database file. Other users seem to have troubles moving database files to other windows installations as well due to file permissions go wrong...

The access rights settings on the database file prevent PVD from reading the file. Go to "file properties -> security" and define proper access rights. This is often cause when you move a database file from one windows installation to another...

Well, I do not know what to say, but the database works here perfectly. Are you sure you have the correct database open?
Use the "File -> Open" or in 1.0.x "Personal Video Database - Open" to select the correct database file.
