Wither nostra?
« on: April 26, 2015, 04:38:28 pm »
Has anyone heard from nostra (or rick.ca, for that matter) recently? I find it worrying that they've both been silent for so long.

Here is the answer, sent to me as a private message.

Sorry mate, I have too much stuff to do, so I kind off paused the project, but I am using PVD myself, so be sure that I will fix it if the program stops working or smth like that.

He surely is there for us, if lesser than he used to.

He sent me a confirmation of his support, too.

Yet, I'm still somewhat worried about our project...

Thanks, Ivek. good to hear Nostra IS still out there, somewhere. Now we just gotta find where rick.ca is hiding himself these days. :)

I suppose that, as it stands right now, PVD is so functional that there isn't much that really needs doing to the program itself.

Still, people are having difficulties with various plugins, which can only be solved by Nostra rewriting the code. Hope he gets some time to work on those issues.

After more than two years, Nostra was again present on the forum on November 7 this year. How will it be in the future, we will see ...
