How to filter movies by movie connections
« on: April 20, 2026, 05:42:11 pm »
Is there a way to filter movies by movie connections? I want to get a list of movies that don't  have any connections.

As far as I know, there is no way to filter movies by movie connections to get a list of movies that have no connections.

But maybe there is a way to get it.

A good example is Karaula (The Border Post) at the link below, where perhaps a field could be created, which could then be put into the database to see which movies are those that have no connections.

Thanks for the idea, Ivek. There is already such CF ~Connect~ which is filled with "No connections" when no connections found for the the tile on IMSb. But I have different problem. I have deleted some invisible movies (I had to) and I lost some movie connections although they exist on IMDb. So I'm trying to locate those titles in PVD in order to update them instead of updating all 8.000 records, hahaha. If you have any other idea, I would be grateful.

What was done, maybe a backup copy of the database was made before these few unseen movies were deleted. If such a copy of the database exists, then copy or unzip the PVD to a new folder and copy this backup copy of the database there as well and then restore the database using the backup copy. This should restore the state before the movies were deleted and you will then be able to find them more easily in the original database using the title search.

Thanks, Ivek. I'll try to use backup and figure out somehow how to locate them!
